Welcome to Pocket Size Pup

Our head office is situated in the beautiful city 27041 SW 138th AVE APT C HOMESTEAD, FL 33032. This is where we serve you from. Our breeders, however, can come from various locations all around the USA.

Unfortunately not. There are many other sites doing that. Our policy is to visit each breeder we work with in person to assure that the puppies are coming from good homes. This is only possible for us here in Florida or in the neighboring states.

No, we do not believe we should qualify anybody when buying puppies from us! One of our customers said it right: “They’re great dogs, but we don’t need anyone qualifying us as to whether or not we deserve the right to buy one of their puppies.” We intend to place our puppies in good homes. However, we certainly reserve the right not to sell if we believe it is in the dog’s best interests.
No. But before you purchase your dog you are required to state that you have read our Terms and Conditions.
All our puppies receive the vaccinations necessary for their age, and any additional vaccinations that are required to meet your countries import regulations.
Unless stated otherwise in the Breeder’s Note, our puppies are not neutered
The health of our puppies is our top priority, and even more importantly, the whole purpose of the breeders we work with! We only choose puppies from breeders we know to put the welfare and comfort of their puppies first. That is why we check the environment the puppies are raised in, to ensure they are healthy, happy, and well cared for. Once you choose your puppy, all necessary vaccinations are given, and immediately prior to departure your puppy will have a check-up with our veterinarian.

Yes we offer a Lifetime Health Guarantee, which is included in the price of the dog. This is how confident we are that our dogs come from a genetically sound background.

The price of the dog is inclusive of everything that ensures it comes to you happy and healthy. This includes the airline standard crate, veterinary costs before arrival, veterinary certificate, vaccinations, and deworming. The cost of delivery is included in the price of a puppy.

The price of the dog includes shipping within the United States. The shipping is as it depends on individual factors, such as the destination, size of the crate, and airline. Prices can vary a great deal from just a few hundred dollars to the thousands of dollars for shipping to certain countries with very strict import regulations there may be additional charges.

Yes, we do. We are privileged to have many returning customers, and we are happy to reward the trust they place in us. Therefore we offer a $200 discount on the 3rd dog purchased as well as every subsequent dog.

You have to pay the total amount all at once as long as the total price is paid prior to shipping. Payments can be made at your convenience as long as…

  • They have to pay the total amount to reserve your puppy.
  • The price of the dog includes shipping.

We normally ship puppies in 7-14 business days. We ship our puppies at the earliest possible moment, but never before 10 weeks. Each country has its own import regulations, with differing minimum age restrictions. Please look on our delivery page for the import regulations to your destination.

We only ship our puppies with pet-friendly, major airlines with many years of experience with shipping animals and strict safety regulations, such as GVM, KLM, and Lufthansa. The airplanes have a separate, temperature-controlled room for live animals. This is very safe, and most puppies sleep through the flight. In most cases, the puppy stays overnight in one of the airline’s cities in the USA, where they are provided with food and water before continuing to the final destination.

We recommend at first to feed your puppy the same food that the breeder Wave. You can gradually try a different food brand that is available in your location. We always recommend super-premium or holistic (grain-free) dry brands. Good choices are, just to mention a few: Royal Canin, Natures Variety, Taste of the Wild. We recommend feeding your puppy 4 times a day until 3 months of age, then 3 times a day until 6 months. From then on you can feed your puppy twice a day, and depending on your choice feed the dog 1 or 2 times a day from 1 year old.

We are happy to see that you are thinking about training as it is very important. Puppies are not in general trained before departure, it is up to the breeder what training they choose to give the puppy.

However, if you wish for specific training this can be arranged for an additional fee.

All puppies require proper training from their owner after arrival. If you don’t want to hire a dog trainer, there are several resources that can be found on the internet to help you.

This depends on several factors such as the dog breed itself, your circumstances where you live. What really is important is to leave space for the dog, let it have his or her own corner where no one should intrude, where he can feel safe and by himself. But make sure breakables and any safety hazards such as electric cables are out of reach. Having plenty of dog toys too is a good idea.
